The Great Year was known in ancient Greece by such as Plato to be the Cycle of the rise and fall of Human Consciousness and Civilisations, and was inherited from ancient India where it was known as the Yuga Cycle.

Learning about this cycle, as part of my studies of all our natural universal cycles, has really helped me to understand why things are as they are and to put things in perspective.
